Professional background

I completed my doctoral thesis at Complutense University in 2014. Subsequently, I obtained a postdoctoral contract at Columbia University (New York, USA). In 2019, I secured an "Ambizione" research contract at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH), where I led a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF). In 2024, I joined the Institute of Geosciences as a research staff member with an excellence contract through the Ramón y Cajal Program and an ERC Starting Grant project from the European Union. My research focuses on the study of climate, atmospheric circulation, its composition, variability, and changes in the past and future.
